Width (mm):
The width of our supply is limited to the range of 300-1830 mm (±1mm, or -0/+2mm), which covers most of the market demands in this industry.
Thickness (mm):
The right product, characteristic-wise, with the right thickness, all based on the machinery in use and end-product, resolves a series of challenges in production. The supplying thicknesses could be variable between 0.0059 – 0.120 mm (±5%).
Core ID & Core Type:
The possible Core IDs are 76.2 mm, 150 mm, 152.4 mm, 300 mm (Jumbo).
Aluminum foil, Steel, or Paper could be chosen depending on the requirements.
Alloys:
Alloy 1100, Alloy 1200, Alloy 1235, Alloy 8011A, Alloy 8021B, Alloy 8079.
Temper:
Temper O is the main general offer to be supplied as a soft foil, which is recommended for flexible packaging.
Wettability:
For temper O as a general offer, the foil must have enough wettability, which should be Wettability A, unless the customer’s order has been categorized as a special order. Special orders, which we normally discuss as part of our expertise to support the customers’ targets, can be discussed at length.
Unwinding/Stickiness:
An important feature to be reviewed. The stickiness is measured by the length of the foil that can unwind freely under its own gravity. Normally, the foil free fall length value is around max 1.5 m, but it should be measured.
Shelf life:
The shelf life of our products is ten months after the production date, which should be considered.
Surface Features:
Brightness:
As an important parameter in food packaging, the surface could vary as one side can be bright, and the other matt or both sides bright or matt.
The brightness level on the bright side also depends on the customer’s demand.
Printing side:
The other item is to choose the printing side, which is on a dull or Bright surface as per the customer’s request.
We make sure there are no defects such as streaks, scratches, residual rust, oil spots, oxidation, and stains.
The Cleanness:
Finishing conditions of the foil shall be optimal and free of oil, burr, creases, corrosion, dirt, particles of foreign matter, and other defects.
Splices:
For the required quality, the number of Splices in each aluminum foil roll must be limited and must meet the following:
- Min 2 Splices per roll for Rolls O/D less than 450.
- For more O/Ds, each 150 mm, one Splice is added.
The Splices shall be Ultrasonically welded, the Strength of the weld at the seam must be a minimum of 75% of the foil UTS, and it has to be Overlapped around 5 mm.

Packaging:
As an important item in international supply, each roll must be packed in wooden cases or cartons, depending on the order.
As part of our services, a sufficient quantity of drying agents is placed inside the packaging in order to prevent dampness, and each roll has suitable protection against dirt, moisture, corrosion, and physical damage.
Each reel is also marked with an arrow showing the unwinding direction.

Pinhole/ Porosity:
As the Pinholes are randomly distributed voids in foil, the number of Pinholes per dm2 must be limited for the thickness of each quality product. The Pinholes are normally round or oval in shape.
The Pinholes within the products shall be limited to the followings:
